About Inszone Insurance Services

Inszone Insurance Services, LLC, founded in 2002 in Rancho Cordova, California, is a rapidly growing insurance agency serving all 50 states. With a strong presence in California, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Missouri, Texas, and Illinois, the company offers a full range of personal and business insurance services.

April 2024 Ransomeware Attack

In April 2024, Inszone Insurance Services discovered unusual activity within its network. After a thorough investigation by cybersecurity specialists, it was determined that certain data stored on Inszone's systems may have been accessed without authorization. This review process concluded on October 25, 2024. The breach affected 21,829 individuals in the United States, including 5 in Maine.

The ransomeware group, Hunters International, took credit for the attack. To confirm the authenticity of its successful data breach, the group posted sample data it acquired to the dark web.

Extremely concerning is the fact the hackers posted exposed social security numbers on its dark web website.
