The company's IT team, alongside third-party forensic and legal experts, worked to contain the incident and restore network operations by August 8, 2024. Additional security measures have been implemented to prevent future breaches, and law enforcement, including the FBI, has been notified.

To assist those affected, the company is offering complimentary access to Experian IdentityWorksSM for 24 months. This service includes identity restoration support, credit monitoring, and $1 million in identity theft insurance. Affected individuals are encouraged to enroll in Experian IdentityWorks by April 30, 2025, to take advantage of these protective measures.
