If you purchased a NordicTrack or ProForm treadmill between November 22, 2015, and January 15, 2020, you may qualify to submit a claim for a class action settlement.

iFIT Health & Fitness, Inc., formerly known as ICON Health & Fitness, Inc., has agreed to settle a class action lawsuit for alleged misrepresentations regarding the horsepower of their treadmills.

Who is eligible for a settlement payout?

Class members must meet the following criteria:

  • You are the original purchaser of a NordicTrack or ProForm treadmill.
  • The purchase occurred between November 22, 2015, and January 15, 2020.
  • The treadmill was bought for personal, family, or household use, and not for resale.

What is the class action benefit?

Claimants can select one of the following:

  • A treadmill maintenance kit (retail value $30).
  • A treadmill mat (retail value $69).
  • Three full months of iFIT’s highest tier of membership for new subscribers (retail value $39/month).
  • Two full months of iFIT’s highest tier of membership for current subscribers (retail value $39/month).
  • Four full months of iFIT’s Train membership for current subscribers owning treadmills without an integrated tablet/controller (retail value $15/month).
  • Five full months of iFIT’s Train membership for new subscribers owning treadmills without an integrated tablet/controller (retail value $15/month).

How to submit a class action settlement claim

To claim a benefit, class members must submit a claim form by the deadline of June 12, 2025. You can file a claim online or download the PDF claim form and mail it to the settlement administrator.

Required documentation

  • Make (NordicTrack or ProForm) of the treadmill and Serial Number.
  • Receipt for the purchase of the treadmill, or bank or credit card statement showing the treadmill charge.
  • Date and location of purchase.

Benefit options

  • Treadmill mat or maintenance kit will be shipped to address provided on claim form.
  • Membership claimants will be notified by email.

iFIT settlement fund breakout

The settlement fund will include:

  • Settlement administration and notice expenses: Up to $296,734
  • Attorneys' fees and expenses: Up to $2,400,000
  • Service awards to class representatives: $7,500 each
  • Benefits to claimants: Varies based on the chosen benefit

When is the NordicTrack & ProForm settlement payout date?

The final hearing is scheduled to take place on August 25, 2025. Benefits will be issued to approved claimants after the judge grants final approval to the settlement.

Why is there a class action settlement?

The lawsuit was initiated due to alleged misrepresentations by iFIT regarding the continuous horsepower of their treadmills. The settlement offers compensation to affected consumers while avoiding the risks of further litigation and a possible trial.
