How much is the GHP Settlement payout?
Class members who submit a valid and timely claim form may receive a pro rata cash payment from the net settlement fund. The net settlement fund is the remaining amount after deducting notice and settlement administration costs, class representative service awards, and attorneys' fees and expenses.
- Class Representative Service Awards: $2,500 per class representative.
- Attorneys' Fees and Expenses: Up to one-third of the settlement fund or $2,000,000, plus expenses up to $50,000.
The exact amount each class member will receive depends on the number of valid claims submitted. For example, if the net settlement fund is $3,950,000 and there are 10,000 valid claims, each claimant would receive $395.
