$2.8M MOVEit Arietis Health Data Breach Settlement

If you were notified by Arietis Health, LLC that your personal information was potentially compromised in a MOVEit-related security incident, you may be eligible to claim up to $5,000 from a class action settlement.

Arietis Health, LLC has agreed to pay $2,800,000 to settle a class action lawsuit over allegations of negligent data security practices.

Who Can File a Claim?

The class members include individuals in the United States who provided personal or health information to Arietis Health, LLC, and whose data was affected by the MOVEit security incident.

These individuals were notified by Arietis Health, LLC about the potential compromise of their information due to the security incident.

How Much Are the Payouts?

• Reimbursement for Out-of-Pocket Losses: Up to $5,000 for documented expenses such as bank fees, credit monitoring services, or professional fees incurred due to the incident.
• Reimbursement for Lost Time: $25 per hour for up to four hours, totaling up to $100.
• Medical and Credit Monitoring Services: Four years of monitoring services including alerts for exposed health insurance plan IDs and medical record numbers.

How to Claim an Award

To claim an award, class members must complete and submit a claim form by April 3, 2025. Claims can be submitted online through the online claim form or by mailing a printed PDF claim form.

Mail completed forms to: MOVEit- Arietis Health Settlement Administrator, P.O. Box 5765, Portland, OR 97228-5765.

Claimants need to provide documentation to support their claims for out-of-pocket losses. This includes receipts, bank statements, or other documents showing the amount of loss. For lost time, claimants must provide a narrative description of the time spent dealing with the incident.

$2.8 Million Settlement Fund

The settlement fund of $2,800,000 will cover valid claims, notice and administration costs, service awards for class representatives, and attorneys' fees and expenses. Class Counsel plans to request up to 25% of the settlement fund for fees and expenses.

When Is the Arietis Health MOVEit Settlement Payout Date?
