Bayhealth Medical Center's Response

Upon discovering the breach, Bayhealth promptly launched an investigation with the help of forensic specialists to secure its environment and assess the scope of the breach. The company has notified federal law enforcement about the incident and is working to implement additional safeguards and employee training to prevent future breaches.

Bayhealth is offering affected individuals 12 months of credit monitoring services through IDX at no cost. This service includes identity restoration and up to $1,000,000 in expense reimbursement for confirmed identity theft. Affected individuals are encouraged to enroll in these services by May 3, 2025, to protect their personal information.
