If you purchased the TSC900 automatic transfer switch controller, you may be eligible to claim up to $2,500 from a class action settlement.

Regal Rexnord Corporation and Thomson Technology Power Systems ULC have agreed to pay $1,750,000 to settle a class action lawsuit for alleged defects and misleading marketing of the TSC900.

Who can file a claim?

The settlement class includes:

  • Individuals who experienced a product failure and replaced their TSC900SCU.
  • Current owners of a TSC900SCU manufactured before February 1, 2022.

How much can class members get?

Class members who paid to replace a TSC900SCU due to failure are entitled to receive documented labor costs for replacement up to $250 and the greater of 100% of the documented amount paid for the TSC900SCU that failed, not exceeding $2,500, or 85% of the documented amount paid for both a TSC900SCU and a TSC900GHC or TSC7320, not exceeding $2,500.

  • Replacement Costs: Up to $250 for documented labor costs.
  • Device Replacement: Up to $2,500 for the TSC900SCU or 85% of the combined cost of the TSC900SCU and TSC900GHC, not exceeding $2,500.

How to submit a claim

To claim an award, you must complete and submit a valid claim form by February 24, 2025. You can file a claim online or download the PDF claim form and mail it to Perez v. Regal Rexnord Corp., c/o Kroll Settlement Administration LLC, PO Box 225391, New York, NY 10150-5391.

Claimants must provide proof of purchase or ownership for certain benefits:

  • For monetary relief, proof of the amounts paid for the original and replacement devices is required.
  • For an extended warranty, the serial number or proof of purchase is necessary.
