Lightricks, Ltd. and Lightricks US, Inc. have agreed to pay $4,485,000 to settle a class action lawsuit for allegedly collecting and storing biometric data without complying with Illinois' Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA).
Who can file a claim?
The settlement class includes individuals in Illinois whose image or voice was analyzed by a Lightricks App during the specified period. This includes both adults and minors, and all are treated equally under the settlement terms.
