Quick Box $5.5M Settlement for La Pura Products

February 2025 Update: On January 31, 2025 the court vacated the February 6, 2025 final approval hearing. The court will provide a new final hearing date and time in the future.

If you purchased La Pura Products between June 20, 2016, and September 9, 2024, you may be eligible to claim a monetary payment from a class action settlement.

Quick Box LLC has agreed to pay $5.5 million to settle a class action lawsuit for alleged false or misleading marketing of La Pura cosmetic products.

There are two separate La Pura product settlements. Konnektive has agreed to a settlement of up to $5 million. There are two settlement websites and claim forms.

A separate claim form must be submitted in order to receive a payment from each settlement.

Who are the class members?

To be considered a class member, you must meet the following criteria:

• You were billed for La Pura Products between June 20, 2016, and September 9, 2024.
• Purchases have already been verified via purchase records, so no further proof is required.

How much can class members get?

The settlement provides monetary payments to class members who submit valid claims. The exact amount each class member can receive depends on their purchase records of La Pura Products. The payment is subject to a pro rata increase or decrease based on the net fund remaining after all eligible claims are determined.

For example, if the net fund is $5,000,000 and there are 100,000 valid claims, each claim might initially be worth $50. However, if fewer claims are submitted, the amount per claim could increase proportionally.

How to claim an award

To claim an award, class members must submit a claim form. You can file a claim online or download a PDF claim form to submit by mail.

Claim instructions

Follow these steps to submit your claim:

1. Visit the online claim form page and enter your Unique ID and PIN.
2. Complete the form with your personal and purchase information.
3. Select your preferred payment method.
4. Submit the form online or mail it to the provided address.

Class members can choose from the following payment options:

• Check via mail
• Digital payment options such as digital MasterCard, Venmo, Amazon, or eCheck

$5.5 Million settlement fund

The settlement fund of $5,500,000 will cover:

• Monetary payments to class members
• Notice and administration expenses estimated at $124,456
• Attorneys’ fees and expenses of up to $1,833,333.33 and $84,040.37
• Service award for the Class Representative up to $6,000

Important dates

• Deadline to File a Claim: February 5, 2025
• Final Approval Hearing: January 6, 2025

When is the La Pura Products payout date?

The Court will hold a Final Approval Hearing on January 6, 2025. If the settlement is approved and no appeals are filed, payments will be made to valid claimants after the claim review process is complete.

Why is there a class action settlement?

The lawsuit alleges that La Pura Products were marketed in a false or misleading way. Quick Box LLC was involved in the fulfillment of these orders and denies these allegations but agreed to settle to avoid further litigation.
