How much can class members get?
Class members who submit a valid claim form can receive a cash payment of $20. However, this amount may vary based on the number of claims submitted. If fewer claims are filed, the amount per claimant could increase, while a higher number of claims might reduce the payout.
The settlement fund is subject to a pro rata distribution. For example, if only half of the expected claims are filed, each claimant might receive more than $20. Conversely, if twice as many claims are submitted, the payout could be less than $20.
How to claim an award
To claim an award, class members must fill out and submit a claim form. You can file a claim online or download the PDF claim form and mail it to the Settlement Administrator. The completed claim form must be submitted online or postmarked by January 27, 2025.

Why was there a class action settlement?
The lawsuit alleged that Intervet made misleading statements about the necessity of paying for HomeAgain's premium membership to maintain and update contact information in their pet recovery database. Intervet denies these allegations but agreed to settle to avoid further litigation costs and uncertainties.
