If you applied for a job opening in Washington with GinSing, LLC between January 1, 2023, and October 18, 2024, you may be eligible to claim a share of a $900,000 class action settlement.
GinSing, LLC has agreed to pay $900,000 to settle a class action lawsuit for alleged violations of Washington's job posting transparency laws.
To be considered a class member, you must meet the following criteria:
- You applied for a job with GinSing, LLC, GinSing II LLC, or GinSing III LLC in Washington.
- Your application was submitted between January 1, 2023, and October 18, 2024.
- The job posting you responded to did not disclose the wage scale or salary range.
If you meet these criteria, you are automatically included in the class, and you do not need to file a claim to receive compensation.
Each class member who does not exclude themselves is eligible to receive an equal share of the Class Fund for each job application submitted. The exact amount depends on the number of valid claims filed.
Class members do not need to file a claim to receive their payment. The Settlement Administrator will mail checks to eligible class members after final approval. Ensure your address is up-to-date with the Settlement Administrator.
The remaining amount will be distributed equally among eligible class members based on the number of valid claims.
The court will hold a final approval hearing on February 7, 2025. If approved, payments will be distributed to eligible class members after the completion of any appeals.
