If you were notified by Entertainment Partners or an affiliate that your personal information may have been compromised in a data breach, you may be eligible to claim compensation from a class action settlement.
Entertainment Partners has agreed to pay $9,500,000 to settle a class action lawsuit for allegedly failing to adequately protect personal information during a cybersecurity attack.
Who can file a claim?
To be part of the class, you must have received a notification from Entertainment Partners or its affiliates stating that your personal information was compromised in the data breach on June 30, 2023. The class includes:
- Individuals whose names, mailing addresses, Social Security numbers, and/or tax identification numbers were compromised.
- California residents or those who resided in California on June 30, 2023, are eligible for additional statutory payments.
The settlement class is defined as all individuals who received a notice of the data breach from Entertainment Partners around July 31, 2023. If you received such a notice, you are considered a class member.
How much can class members get?
Class members can choose from several benefits:
- Expanded Identity Theft and Fraud Monitoring
- Documented Loss Payment
- Alternative Cash Payment
- California Statutory Cash Payment
Expanded Identity Theft and Fraud Monitoring
All class members are eligible for two years of identity theft and fraud monitoring services, which include three-bureau credit monitoring and up to $1 million in insurance coverage.
Documented Loss Payment
Class members can claim up to $5,000 for documented losses. This includes expenses like long-distance phone charges, credit report costs, and lost time valued at $25 per hour, up to 10 hours. Claims must be supported by documentation such as bank statements or receipts.
Alternative Cash Payment
If you do not claim a Documented Loss Payment, you can opt for an Alternative Cash Payment. The amount depends on the remaining settlement funds after other claims are paid and may be adjusted on a pro rata basis.
California Statutory Cash Payment
California residents as of June 30, 2023, can claim an additional payment, estimated at $250. Proof of residency, such as a sworn attestation, is required.
How to claim an award
To claim an award, class members must submit a claim form by January 13, 2025. Claims can be filed online at the online claim form or by downloading the PDF claim form and mailing it to the Settlement Administrator:

When is the Entertainment Partners Settlement payout date?
After the final approval hearing on January 9, 2025, if the settlement is approved, the claims administrator will begin processing payments to eligible class members.
