If you received a telephone call from The Credit Wholesale Company, Inc., selling services on behalf of Wells Fargo, between October 22, 2014, and November 17, 2023, you may be eligible to claim between $86 and $5,000 from a class action settlement.

Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., along with three other defendants, has agreed to pay $19,500,000 to settle a class action lawsuit for alleged violations of the California Invasion of Privacy Act, specifically related to the unauthorized recording of phone calls.

How to claim a Wells Fargo call recording payout

To claim a settlement payment, you must complete a claim form by the April 11, 2025 deadline. Class members can submit a claim online or there is also an option to download a personalized claim form to print and mail in.

The settlement fund of $19.5 million includes the following:

• Payments to approved claimants
• Settlement notice and administration costs of up to $200,000

When is the Wells Fargo call recording settlement payout date?

The final hearing is currently scheduled for May 20, 2025. Once the court grants approval to the settlements, payments will be mailed approximately 52 days after the approval date. Appeals can delay the process.
