
If you are a female worker who applied for temporary work with SmartTalent, LLC or were assigned to temporary jobs by SmartTalent, you may be able to submit a claim for portion of $875,000 class action settlement.
SmartTalent has agreed to pay $875,000 to settle a class action lawsuit filed by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for alleged sex discrimination in hiring and placement practices.
Who is eligible for a payment?
Class members include:
- Female workers who applied for temporary work with SmartTalent.
- Female workers who were assigned to temporary jobs by SmartTalent.
- Individuals who were subject to sex discrimination in hiring or placement by SmartTalent since June 5, 2015.
How much are payouts per person?
The settlement fund of $875,000 will be distributed among eligible claimants. The exact amount of each payment will depend on the number of valid claims submitted.
The settlement fund will be distributed pro rata, meaning each eligible claimant will receive an equal payment from the settlement fund.
How do I claim my settlement payment?
To claim a settlement payout, class members must complete and submit a Claim Form by March 18, 2025. You can file a claim online, send it as an email attachment to info@SmartTalentLawsuit.com, or mail it to the settlement administrator.

Documentation required to submit for a payout
- A Claimant ID Number is required to submit online
- Social Security number information
- Tears in which you applied for employment and/or years you were temporarily employed.
Additional documentation is not required in order to submit a claim. However, the Settlement Administrator may request additional information if needed.

The settlement fund of $875,000 will cover the following:
- Payments to valid claimants
- Notice and administrative costs
- Any other expenses related to the settlement
