
If you are a Pennsylvania resident who accessed a Mount Nittany Health website or patient portal between January 1, 2007, and January 7, 2025, you may be eligible to claim a share of a class action settlement.
Mount Nittany Health has agreed to pay $1,800,000 to settle allegations of unauthorized sharing of personal and health information with third parties such as Facebook and Google through tracking pixels.
Who is eligible for a payout?
To be eligible for this settlement:
- You are a resident of Pennsylvania
- You accessed a website or patient portal operated by or affiliated with Mount Nittany Health at least once between January 1, 2007, and January 7, 2025
How much are the payouts?
Class members who submit a valid claim form may receive a pro rata payout from the net settlement fund, which is the remaining amount from the $1,800,000 settlement after deducting costs for notice and claims administration, class representative service awards, and attorneys' fees and expenses.
The exact amount each class member will receive depends on the number of valid claims submitted.
Pro-rata distribution: The total settlement fund is divided by the number of valid claims. For instance, $1,800,000 divided by 100,000 claims equals $18 per claimant.
How to claim an award
To claim an award, class members must submit a claim form. You can file a claim online or download the PDF claim form and mail it to the settlement administrator.
