If you enrolled in an automatically renewing UFC Fight Pass subscription between October 11, 2018, and January 21, 2025, you may qualify to submit a claim for up to $9.99 or two months of free service from a class action settlement.

Zuffa, LLC and NeuLion USA, LLC have agreed to pay $1.2 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging that subscribers were enrolled in automatically renewing UFC Fight Pass subscriptions without proper disclosures regarding renewal charges and cancellation terms.

Who qualifies to submit a claim for a class action payout?

Class members meet the following criteria:

  • You enrolled in an automatically renewing UFC Fight Pass subscription between October 11, 2018, and January 21, 2025.
  • You paid subscription fees associated with the UFC Fight Pass service.

How much is the UFC Fight Pass settlement payment?

  • Active Subscribers: Can submit a claim for a prorated cash payment of up to $9.99 or automatically receive two months of free UFC Fight Pass service, valued at $19.98 total.
  • Inactive Subscribers: Must submit a claim and can select from a prorated cash payment of up to $9.99 or two months of free UFC Fight Pass service applied to a new or reactivated subscription.

How to claim a top class action payout

To claim your settlement payment, a claim form must be submitted by the June 5, 2025 deadline. You can file a claim online or print the PDF claim form and mail it to the settlement administrator.

Active subscribers who do not submit a claim for a cash payment will be automatically have two months of free Fight Pass subscription services applied to their accounts.

$1.2 Million class action settlement fund breakdown

The settlement fund of $1,200,000 will cover the following expenses:

  • Settlement administration costs: $70,000
  • Attorneys' fees and expenses: Up to $400,000
  • Service awards to class representatives: Up to $2,500 each for a total of $12,500
  • Payments to valid claimants: Remaining settlement balance after deductions

When is the UFC Fight Pass class action settlement payout date?

The final hearing will take place on June 10, 2025 and the court must grant final approval to the settlement before claims will be paid. Once approval is granted, eligible class members will receive their settlement payments approximately 60 days after the claim deadline.

Why was Zuffa, LLC sued over UFC Fight Pass subscriptions?

The class action lawsuit alleged that Zuffa, LLC and NeuLion USA, LLC enrolled subscribers in automatically renewing UFC Fight Pass subscriptions without adequately disclosing renewal charges and cancellation terms. Plaintiffs claimed these practices violated consumer protection laws, including the Nevada Deceptive Trade Practices Act and the Electronic Funds Transfer Act.

The defendants deny these allegations and assert their practices complied with applicable laws. However both parties agreed to settle to avoid the cost of lengthy litigation and a possible trial.
