FloridaCentral Credit Union has agreed to pay $1,000,000 to settle a class action lawsuit for alleged negligence, breach of implied contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and unjust enrichment.
Who can file a claim for a data breach settlement payout?
To be eligible to submit a claim, the following criteria must be met:
- You are a person in the United States whose private information was potentially accessible due to the data incident.
- You received a notification from FloridaCentral Credit Union indicating that your private information was potentially accessible as a result of the breach.
How much is the FloridaCentral claim payment?
Class members have the following options:
- Cash Payment A – Documented Losses: Eligible for up to $5,000 in documented monetary losses due to the data breach incident.
- Cash Payment B – Flat Cash Payment: An estimated $100, available as an alternative to a Documented Losses claim.
- Credit Monitoring: Three years of one-bureau monitoring and identity theft insurance coverage and recover services for up to $1,000,000.
Cash payment amounts are subject to a pro rate increase or reduction, based upon the number of valid claims submitted.
How to claim a data breach class action payout
To claim a settlement payment, class members must complete and submit a claim form. You can file a claim online or print the PDF claim form and mail it to the settlement administrator. The deadline for claim submission is June 2, 2025.

The settlement fund of $1,000,000 includes

- Payments to approved claimants: Remaining settlement funds after other expenses

When is the FloridaCentral Credit Union payout date?
The final approval hearing is scheduled for June 16, 2025. Once the court grants approval, claims will be process and payments will be issued to class members with approved claims.
