On September 17, 2024, Adkore Staffing Group detected suspicious activity within certain systems in its environment. An immediate investigation revealed that an unauthorized party accessed and acquired files from Adkore’s systems between September 11 and September 12, 2024. The company then began a thorough review of the compromised systems to determine what sensitive information may have been exposed.

By March 19, 2025, Adkore concluded that the affected files contained personal information related to residents of several states, including Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont. The exposed information included names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license or state-issued identification numbers, and financial account information. This type of information is considered personally identifiable information (PII) and, if misused, could increase the risk of identity theft and financial fraud.

Written notification letters were sent to affected individuals on April 24, 2025.
