If you purchased Traeger wood pellets in stores or online while in California or Utah after October 1, 2015, you may be eligible to claim a $3.00 coupon from a class action settlement.

Traeger Pellet Grills, LLC has agreed to pay $1,500,000 to settle a class action lawsuit for allegedly misrepresenting the type of wood used in their pellets and claiming they were 100% hardwood.

Who are the class members?

The class members include individuals who:

• Purchased Traeger wood pellets in stores or online while in California or Utah.
• The purchase was made after October 1, 2015.

How much can class members get?

Class members can receive $3.00 coupons, which will be attached to certain bags of wood pellets or displayed on shelves in select stores in California and Utah. These coupons can be used at the register for an immediate discount.

No action needed to receive compensation

Class members do not need to file a claim to receive compensation. Coupons will be distributed automatically at participating Home Depot, Ace Hardware, Kroeger, and Albertsons locations in California and Utah.

When is the Traeger Pellet Grills payout date?

The awards will be paid out as coupons, which will be available for use until July 30, 2026. According to the settlement agreement, Traeger shall distribute the tear-off coupons within 13 months of final approval.
