- Individuals whose private information was compromised during the data incident between May 26, 2022, and October 12, 2022
- Those who received a notification letter from Squishable.com about the breach
How much can class members get?
Class members can claim different types of compensation based on their circumstances:
- Ordinary Losses: Up to $200 for unreimbursed fees, charges, and expenses related to the data incident. This includes up to $60 for lost time, calculated at $15 per hour for up to four hours.
- Extraordinary Losses: Up to $2,500 for verified and documented identity theft or fraud expenses.
- California Residents: An additional $100 for those who were residents of California at the time of the incident.
The total settlement fund is subject to pro rata distribution if claims exceed $500,000. For instance, if the total claims amount to $600,000, each claim would be reduced proportionately to fit within the $500,000 cap.
What documentation is needed to file a claim?
- Ordinary Losses: Documentation such as bank statements or receipts showing unreimbursed fees or charges.
- Extraordinary Losses: Proof of identity theft or fraud expenses, such as legal or credit repair fees.
