The lawsuit was filed due to a cyberattack on Quaker's computer systems on November 25, 2023, which allegedly led to unauthorized access to employee and customer private information, including full names, addresses, and Social Security Numbers.

Individuals residing in the United Dates who received direct communication from Quaker Window Products about the data breach notifying them that their private information (PII) was compromised in the November 2023 cyberattack incident.
How much is the class action settlement payment?
Class members can claim one or more of the following:
- Identity Theft Protection Services: Two years of one bureau credit monitoring services and identity theft protection services which includes up to $1 million in identity theft insurance.
- Reimbursement for Out-of-Pocket Expenses: Up to $500 for documented expenses related to the data incident and incurred up to December 18, 2024, such as bank fees, gas for local travel, and fees for credit reports.
- Lost Time Reimbursement: Up to 4 hours at $17.50 per hour for time spent responding to the cybersecurity incident. This benefit may be combined with a Out-of-Pocket Expenses claim and is subject to the $500 cap.
- Reimbursement for Actual Monetary Loss: Up to $5,250 for documented financial losses caused by the data breach.
How to claim a Quaker Windows payout
To claim a settlement, class members must submit a claim form by April 10, 2025. The fastest way to do this is to file a claim online. Or a PDF claim form can be printed and mailed to the settlement administrator.
