LEGOLAND New York Ticket Fee Disclosure Settlement

If you purchased electronic tickets to LEGOLAND New York Resort between August 29, 2022, and January 30, 2024, or LEGOLAND Discovery Center between August 29, 2022, and January 2, 2024, and paid a processing fee, you may be eligible to claim a portion of a class action settlement.

LEGOLAND New York, LLC has agreed to pay $350,000 to settle a class action lawsuit for allegedly failing to properly disclose processing fees for electronic tickets.

Who is eligible for a LEGOLAND payout?

Class members are those who purchased electronic tickets to:

• LEGOLAND New York Resort between August 29, 2022, and January 30, 2024
• LEGOLAND Discovery Center in New York between August 29, 2022, and January 2, 2024

How much is the Legoland settlement payment?

Class members will receive a pro rata share of the settlement fund based on the processing fees they paid. The exact amount each class member will receive depends on the total number of valid claims submitted.

For example, if the total processing fees paid by all claimants amount to $100,000, and the settlement fund is $350,000, each claimant would receive a percentage of the fund proportional to their fees paid.

To claim an award, class members must submit a claim form by June 21, 2025. You can file a claim online or download the PDF claim form and mail it to the settlement administrator.

3. Sign the attestation under penalty of perjury.

When is the LEGOLAND NY Ticket Fee Settlement payout date?

Payments will be made 28 days after the claim deadline, provided the court approves the settlement.

Why is there a class action settlement?

The lawsuit claims that LEGOLAND New York, LLC failed to disclose processing fees for electronic tickets, allegedly violating New York Arts and Cultural Affairs Law § 25.07(4).

What happens next?
