LifeBridge Health $2M Pixel Class Action Settlement

If you logged into the LifeBridge Patient Portal at least once between May 13, 2020, and July 25, 2023, you may be eligible to claim compensation from a class action settlement.

LifeBridge Health, Inc. has agreed to pay $2,000,000 to settle a class action lawsuit for alleged improper sharing of personal information through the use of the Meta Pixel on its websites.

Who can file a claim?

The class members include:

• Individuals who accessed the LifeBridge Patient Portal at least once during the period from May 13, 2020, to July 25, 2023.
• If you received a notice via mail or email, you have been identified as a class member based on LifeBridge's records.

Excluded from the class are:

• LifeBridge’s officers and directors
• Its affiliates, parents, and subsidiaries
• The judges presiding over this matter and their clerks

What are the benefits and payouts?

Class members can receive two types of benefits:

• Privacy Shield: A data protection and monitoring service available for one year.
• Cash Compensation: A pro rata share of the Net Settlement Fund, which is the remainder after administrative costs, taxes, service awards, and attorney fees are deducted from the $2,000,000 settlement fund.
• The cash compensation is calculated based on the number of valid claims submitted. For example, if $500,000 remains in the Net Settlement Fund and 10,000 valid claims are submitted, each claimant would receive $50.

Class members must submit a claim form by February 3, 2025.

$2 Million settlement fund

The settlement fund of $2,000,000 will cover:

Important dates

When is the LifeBridge Health Data Privacy payout date?

The court will hold a Final Approval Hearing on March 10, 2025, to decide whether to approve the settlement. If approved, the settlement benefits will be distributed to eligible class members who submitted valid claims.

Why is there a class action settlement?
