DC Health Link $1.45M Data Breach Settlement

Who can claim compensation?

The settlement class is divided into two groups:

• Group 1: Individuals who can claim up to $10,000 for documented losses.
• Group 2: Individuals who can claim up to $2,500 for documented losses.

How much can class members get?

Class members can claim reimbursement for documented monetary losses or opt for an alternative cash payment. The details are as follows:

• Documented Losses:
• Group 1 members can claim up to $10,000.
• Group 2 members can claim up to $2,500.

• Alternative Cash Payment:
• Calculated pro rata, with Group 1 claims valued at three times those of Group 2.

For example, if the net settlement fund is $1,000,000 and there are 1,000 Group 1 claims and 2,000 Group 2 claims, the calculation involves dividing the remaining funds by the weighted claims.

How to claim compensation

Claimants must complete and submit a claim form by March 28, 2025. They can file a claim online or mail a completed form to the settlement administrator.
