Camping World $650,000 Data Security Incident Settlement

If you were notified that your personal information was or may have been compromised in a data security incident involving Camping World Holdings, Inc. and other companies, you may be eligible to claim a cash payment and two years of credit monitoring from a class action settlement.

Camping World Holdings, Inc. has agreed to pay $650,000 to settle a class action lawsuit for alleged failure to protect sensitive, personally identifiable information of people who worked for or purchased goods or services from the company.

Who Can Claim an Award?

To be eligible for an award, you must be a Settlement Class Member. You are considered a Settlement Class Member if you were notified by Camping World Holdings, Inc. that your personal information was or may have been compromised in the Data Security Incident disclosed in November 2022.

What Awards Can Class Members Claim?

Settlement Class Members can claim two types of awards: two years of free one-bureau credit monitoring and a cash Settlement Payment. The cash Settlement Payment will be a pro rata share of what remains in the Net Settlement Fund after all necessary fees and costs are paid.

The Net Settlement Fund is calculated by subtracting Notice and Administrative Expenses, Taxes and Tax-Related Expenses, Service Award Payments, and attorneys’ fees, costs, and expenses from the $650,000 Settlement Fund. The remaining amount is then divided equally among all Settlement Class Members.

Is Proof Required to Claim the Reward?

Settlement Class Members do not need to proactively provide proof because the Settlement Administrator already has their information.

How to Claim Your Award

To claim your award, you do not need to file a claim. Cash Settlement Payments will be automatically sent by check. For credit monitoring, you must call the credit monitoring service vendor at 1-800-455-7440 and provide your unique code found on your postcard, or enroll online at Identity Defense Enrollment.

How do I Get Paid?

Cash Settlement Payments will be sent by check to the address on file. Ensure your contact information is up to date with the Settlement Administrator to avoid any issues.
