Who is eligible for a data breach payment?
- You were notified by Burton regarding the potential compromise of their personal information.

How much is the Burton settlement payout?
Class members can claim one or more of the following:
- Reimbursement for Ordinary Losses: Up to $500 for out-of-pocket financial losses directly linked to the cybersecurity incident.
- Reimbursement for Extraordinary Losses: Up to $5,000 for documented, unreimbursed monetary losses caused by the data incident occurring between February 11, 2023, and May 14, 2025.
- Reimbursement for Lost Time: Payment for up to 4 hours at $21.25 per hour for time spent addressing issues related to the breach.
- Alternative Cash Payment: A flat payment of $65 for class members that do not claim reimbursement for Ordinary Losses, Extraordinary Losses, or Lost Time.
- Identity Theft Protection and Credit Monitoring: Two years of services at no cost, which includes monitoring with all three credit bureaus and $1,000,000 in identity theft insurance.
How to claim a data breach settlement payment
To claim an award, you must complete and submit a claim form by the May 14, 2025 deadline. You can file a claim online or print the PDF claim form and mail it to the settlement administrator.

When is the Burton data breach payout date?
