Who is eligible for a class action rebate?
Class members are as follows:
- You are a current or former Bass Company employee in the State of Illinois, employed any time between May 15, 2018 and November 2023.
- You were required to clock in and out using a finger scan (biometric information) while working at Bass Company, LLC for timekeeping purposes.
- You did not or have not sign a waiver or release related to providing biometric information.
How much is the BIPA settlement payout?
Claimants will receive a pro rata cash payment, amount to be determined by the number of valid claims filed.
How to claim a class action payment
To claim a settlement payout, you must submit a claim form by the May 7, 2025 deadline. The claim form is included with the notice mailed to all class members, along with a self-addressed envelope.
Postage is not required, and the claim form must be postmarked by the claim deadline.
