Atom Tickets $550,000 Service Fee Settlement (NY)

If you paid a service fee to purchase electronic tickets to any theater located within New York State from Atom Tickets' website, mobile application, or any other Atom Tickets-owned or operated online platform between August 29, 2022, and April 30, 2024, you may be eligible to claim a pro rata share of a class action settlement.

Atom Tickets, LLC has agreed to pay $550,000 to settle a lawsuit alleging that it failed to disclose service fees for electronic tickets in a timely manner, violating New York Arts and Cultural Affairs Law § 25.07(4).

Who can file a claim?

To be part of the Atom Tickets fee settlement:

• You paid a service fee to purchase electronic tickets from Atom Tickets
• The purchase was for any theater located within New York State
• The purchase was made through Atom Tickets' website, mobile phone application, or any other Atom Tickets-owned or operated online platform.
• The purchase occurred between August 29, 2022, and April 30, 2024.

How much are the payouts?

Class members can receive a pro rata share of the $550,000 settlement fund. The exact amount each class member receives will depend on the total number of valid claims submitted and the total amount of service fees paid by each claimant.

Pro Rata Share: The payment is calculated based on the total service fees you paid compared to the total fees paid by all claimants. For example, if the total claims exceed the settlement fund, each claimant's payment will be reduced proportionally.

How to claim a payout

To claim an payout, you must submit a claim form by filing a claim online or mailing the claim form you received in the mail. Ensure your claim form is postmarked by June 23, 2025.
