In thier own words
Working to Make Michigan a Safer Place to Live, Work & Play: Families Seek Justice When They Are Injured by an Unsafe Product, Drunk Driver or by Another Person's Negligence. Our members represent: - Families whose loved ones have been injured in nursing homes - People whose insurance companies refuse to pay for coverage that was paid for - People whose HMOs have said no to reasonable medical treatment they need to live - People injured at work - Innocent families who've been hurt in crashes with drunk and negligent drivers - People who've been harmed by a medical mistake - Employees who've been harassed or discriminated against - People who've been victimized by someone else's negligence. Michigan Association for Justice was originated in 1945 and is governed by an executive board comprised of approximately 70 members and five officers. The officers are elected each spring at the annual meeting of the full membership.
