What happened?
On December 23, 2024, Dignity Health Lassen Medical Clinic disclosed a significant data security incident. The breach occurred between September 17, 2024, and September 20, 2024, when an unauthorized third party accessed the clinic's IT network. Although the network was secured and restored the following day, the investigation revealed that the intruder obtained copies of sensitive patient information. Fortunately, no data was directly taken from the clinic's Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

- Address
- Date of birth
- Driver's license number
- Financial account information
- Medical and health insurance information
