About WK Kellogg Co.

WK Kellogg Co. is an American food manufacturing company headquartered in Battle Creek, Michigan. Established on October 2, 2023, it was formed as a spin-off from the larger Kellogg Company, now known as Kellanova.

WK Kellogg Co. focuses exclusively on cereal products for the North American market, offering popular brands such as Frosted Flakes, Rice Krispies, Froot Loops, Kashi, Special K, Raisin Bran, and Bear Naked.

The company employs approximately 3,280 people and reported revenues of $2.71 billion in 2024.

What was the December Data Breach?

On February 27, 2025, WK Kellogg Co. learned of a serious data breach involving Cleo, a technology vendor responsible for secure file transfers. Cleo informed WK Kellogg Co. that an unauthorized party gained access to servers hosting employee files on December 7, 2024. The cybercriminal group CL0P claimed responsibility for the breach, publicly announcing the hack on the dark web on February 25, 2025.

The compromised servers contained sensitive employee information. According to the disclosure filed with the New Hampshire Attorney General's office on April 4, 2025, residents of New Hampshire were among those affected.

In response, WK Kellogg Co. is offering affected individuals identity monitoring services provided by Kroll, including credit monitoring, fraud consultation, and identity theft restoration.
