About Inpatient Physician Associates

Inpatient Physician Associates (IPA) operates primarily in Lincoln, Nebraska, and Dallas, Texas. Founded in 2001, the Lincoln-based IPA is a physician-owned and physician-led group, offering inpatient hospital care at Bryan Medical Center locations in Lincoln and at Grand Island Regional Medical Center.

The Dallas-based IPA, founded in 1999, provides hospitalist coverage for acute and post-acute care facilities throughout North Texas. This entity offers 24-hour in-house programs and traditional on-call programs for emergency room and acute care services. They also manage post-discharge and transitional care in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and long-term acute care facilities, utilizing advanced workflow automation and management systems.

Both organizations share a common goal of providing comprehensive inpatient care and maintaining continuity of care for patients transitioning between hospital and post-acute settings.
