Crown Health Care Laundry Services began notifying affected individuals by mail on March 20, 2025. The company also provided a substitute notice on its website for individuals they were unable to reach directly. Your Rights and Next Steps

If your information was compromised in this data breach, you have important rights and steps you can take to protect yourself:

  1. Monitor Your Accounts: Carefully review your bank statements, credit card statements, and medical billing statements regularly. Report any suspicious activity immediately to your financial institution or healthcare provider.
  2. Obtain Your Credit Report: You can request a free annual credit report from each of the three major credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion).
  3. Place a Fraud Alert: Consider placing a fraud alert on your credit file. This alerts potential creditors to verify your identity before extending credit. You can place a fraud alert by contacting any one of the three major credit bureaus.
  4. Implement a Credit Freeze: You have the right to request a free security freeze on your credit report. A credit freeze prevents new creditors from accessing your credit report without your consent. To place a freeze, contact each of the three credit bureaus separately using the contact information above.
  5. Report Identity Theft: If you believe you are a victim of identity theft, file a police report with your local law enforcement agency and report the incident to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
