What Happened?
On or around July 14, 2024, Apex Global Solutions discovered suspicious activity on its systems. After investigating with the help of third-party specialists, the company determined that unauthorized access to its computers occurred between June 18, 2024 and July 2, 2024. The incident was later confirmed to be a ransomware attack carried out by a group known as Brain Cipher, who claimed to have accessed 2 TB of the organization’s data.

First, you should remain vigilant by monitoring your credit reports, bank accounts, and any statements from your healthcare provider for unusual activity. You are entitled to one free credit report per year from each of the major credit bureaus: TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax.
