What Happened?

On or around July 14, 2024, Apex Global Solutions discovered suspicious activity on its systems. After investigating with the help of third-party specialists, the company determined that unauthorized access to its computers occurred between June 18, 2024 and July 2, 2024. The incident was later confirmed to be a ransomware attack carried out by a group known as Brain Cipher, who claimed to have accessed 2 TB of the organization’s data.
