  1. Enroll in Identity Protection Services: Summit Pathology is providing free identity protection services through IDX. You can enroll by visiting or calling 1-877-225-2094.
  2. Monitor Your Credit Reports: Regularly review your credit reports for any suspicious activity. You are entitled to one free credit report every 12 months from each of the three major credit reporting agencies. Visit annualcreditreport.com for more information.
  3. Place Fraud Alerts: Consider placing a fraud alert on your credit files by contacting one of the three major credit bureaus. This alert can help prevent identity thieves from opening accounts in your name.
  4. Consider a Security Freeze: A security freeze can prevent new creditors from accessing your credit report, making it more difficult for identity thieves to open accounts in your name.
  5. Stay Vigilant: Keep an eye on your financial statements and report any unauthorized transactions to your bank or credit card company immediately.
