Steps to Take if You Are Affected

If you believe your information was involved in this breach, it is important to stay vigilant and monitor your financial accounts and credit reports for any unusual activity. Here are several steps you can take:

  1. Enroll in the complimentary credit monitoring service offered by Forbright Bank. You can enroll by visiting Equifax's Activation Page and entering the unique activation code provided in the notification letter.
  2. Obtain a free credit report from each of the three major credit reporting agencies at AnnualCreditReport.com or by calling 1-877-322-8228.
