DocGo Data Breach Affects Sensitive Consumer Info

On April 21 and April 22, 2024, Ambulnz Holdings, LLC, a company operating under the brand DocGo, experienced a significant data breach. DocGo, known for its software and skilled clinicians delivering various healthcare solutions, discovered unauthorized access to its IT network.

Upon investigation, it was revealed that an unauthorized party accessed and acquired certain files from the company's IT network.

The compromised data includes highly sensitive consumer information like social security numbers, medical records, health diagnoses history, and treatment information.

The breach was disclosed to the California Attorney General's office, and more details can be found on the California Attorney General's website.

In response to the data breach, DocGo took steps to secure its systems and commenced a thorough investigation. The company promptly notified law enforcement and began reviewing the affected files to identify the individuals whose information was compromised.

To help protect the affected individuals, DocGo is offering a complimentary one-year membership to Experian®’s IdentityWorksSM. This service helps detect possible misuse of personal information and provides identity protection support focused on immediate identification and resolution of identity theft. More information on how to activate this membership can be found in the notice to consumers.

By staying vigilant and taking the necessary precautions, you can better protect your personal information and mitigate the potential impact of this data breach.
