Peacock TV LLC has agreed to pay $3,742,637.14 to settle a class action lawsuit for alleged violations of California law regarding automatic subscription renewals and unauthorized charges.
Who can submit a claim?
To be eligible, you must have:
- Enrolled in an automatically renewing Peacock Subscription directly through Peacock between September 15, 2019, to February 27, 2024
- Used a California billing address
- Been charged and paid automatic renewal fees
How much can class members get?
Class members are eligible to receive a pro rata cash payment from the settlement fund. Class Counsel estimates this amount to be approximately $18.33 per eligible class member.
Is proof required to submit a claim?
Proof is not applicable to the settlement. Claimants must provide their billing address associated with their subscription(s) to Peacock TV and the settlement administrator will confirm class membership.

Payment options
Class members can choose to receive their payment via check, digital MasterCard, PayPal, or Venmo. Checks will expire and become void 180 days after issuance.

The settlement fund of $3,742,637.14 will cover:
- Class member payments.
- Administrative costs.
- Attorneys' fees (up to one-third of the settlement fund).
- An award to the class representative (up to $5,000).
