If you are a living individual residing in the United States whose personal information was accessed or acquired in the Paycom Payroll, LLC MOVEit Transfer Data Incident, you may be eligible to claim up to $4,200 from a class action settlement.

Paycom Payroll, LLC has agreed to pay $900,000 to settle a class action lawsuit for alleged unauthorized access to personal information due to a vulnerability in the MOVEit Transfer application.

Who can file a claim?

You are eligible if:

  • You are a living individual residing in the United States.
  • Your personal information was accessed or acquired in the Data Incident.

Most Settlement Class Members were notified of the Data Incident by Paycom or a Paycom Customer between July 2023 and October 2023.

How much can class members get?

  • Reimbursement for Out-of-Pocket Losses: Up to $2,500 per person for documented losses traceable to the Data Incident.
  • Reimbursement for Time Spent: Up to 4 hours at $25 per hour, totaling $100, for time spent remedying identity theft or fraud.
  • Reimbursement for Extraordinary Losses: Up to $4,200 per person for documented losses stemming from fraud or identity theft.
  • Credit Monitoring Services: 3 years of credit monitoring services.
  • Alternative Cash Payment: $25 per person in lieu of other benefits.

All benefits may be subject to a pro rata decrease depending on the number of valid claims submitted. For example, if the total value of valid claims exceeds the $900,000 settlement fund, the amount each class member receives will be reduced proportionally.

Settlement Fund Breakdown

The settlement fund of $900,000 will cover:
