Nucor Corporation has agreed to settle a class action lawsuit concerning unauthorized access to personal information.

This settlement addresses claims related to a data incident at Nucor where unauthorized parties accessed certain files containing personal information, including names, bank account numbers, routing numbers, and deposit amounts.

Who are the class members?

To be considered a class member eligible for compensation:

  • You did not opt out of the settlement.
  • You are not an officer or director of Nucor or related entities.

  • Extraordinary Expenses: Reimbursement for documented extraordinary out-of-pocket expenses up to $7,500 if your identity was stolen as a result of the data incident. This requires sufficient proof of identity theft.
  • Credit Monitoring: If you did not previously enroll, you can receive 24 months of credit monitoring services at no cost upon submitting a valid claim.
