Gifted Healthcare Data Breach Class Action Settlement

Gifted Healthcare has agreed to settle a class action lawsuit for alleged failure to properly safeguard personally identifiable information.

Can I Claim an Award?

If you received a notice addressed to you regarding the Data Incident, then you are a member of the Settlement Class and will be part of the Settlement unless you exclude yourself. The Settlement Class includes individuals who were notified by Gifted Nurses, LLC d/b/a Gifted Healthcare about the Data Incident that occurred between August 25, 2021, and December 10, 2021.

What Awards Can Class Members Claim?

The Settlement provides several benefits for Class Members:

Three years of 3-credit-bureau credit monitoring and Identity Theft Protection Services, including $1,000,000 in identity theft insurance.
Reimbursement for Ordinary Losses up to $400.
Reimbursement for Lost Time up to $80.
Reimbursement for Extraordinary Losses up to $4,000.
Alternative Cash Payment of $50.

Is Proof Required to Claim the Reward?

Yes, proof is required to claim the reward. Class Members must provide documentation to support their claims for Ordinary Losses, Lost Time, and Extraordinary Losses. This includes bank fees, long-distance phone charges, cell phone charges, data charges, and other miscellaneous qualified expenses.
