Who can file a claim?
The class members include individuals who:
- Owned a vehicle booted by Buckhead Parking
- Were in possession of a vehicle booted by Buckhead Parking
- Paid to have a boot removed by Buckhead Parking
- In the following locations and timeframes:
- Marietta, Georgia: From November 14, 2014, through the present.
- Union City, Georgia: From February 9, 2012, through the present.
- Outside of Atlanta, Decatur, Sandy Springs, Union City, Doraville, Hapeville, Morrow, Riverdale, and Smyrna: From January 25, 2014, through the present.
To qualify, the vehicle must have been booted from a non-compliant lot before it became compliant, and the claimant must have been driving the vehicle and paid the booting fee personally.
How much can class members get?
Eligible class members can receive up to $400 per claim in Union City and other specified areas, and up to $60 per claim in Marietta. The exact amount may vary based on the number of claims submitted. If the total claims exceed the subclass settlement fund, the payout per claim will be adjusted accordingly.
