If you submitted a settlement claim for your MacBook laptop sold between 2015 and 2019 equipped with a 'Butterfly' keyboard, you should soon be receiving your settlement payout.

• Settlement Class Members who obtained two or more Topcase Replacements within four years of purchase
• 63,069 members, $395 each, totaling $24,912,255

• Group 2
• Settlement Class Members who obtained a single Topcase Replacement within four years of purchase and declared that the repair did not resolve their keyboard issues
• 64,686 members, $125 each, totaling $8,085,750

• Group 3
• Settlement Class Members who obtained one or more Keycap Replacements within four years of purchase and declared that the repair did not resolve their keyboard issues
• 4,773 members, $50 each, totaling $238,650

• Late Claim Reserve: total $41,725
• Duplicate Claim Reserve: total $267,635

Why was there a class action settlement?
